How to link drop-down selection across multiple worksheets

In this blog I highlight a practical example of using built-in Excel functionality to improve the user experience on a series of interactive KPI cards.

In Excel, many users are familiar with creating drop-down selections using the data validation functionality. However the drop-down list only exists in one place and therefore can only be selected or updated in one location, even if cells in other worksheets are dependent on the selection.

-Is it possible to have multiple drop-down selection boxes which are linked so that the selection can be updated from multiple locations within a workbook?
