Background

I am a qualified management accountant and have earned my stripes working in FP&A roles in a variety of companies and industries. I worked for 14 years in the logistics & supply chain industry, so I understand complex, global business operations. My curious nature and desire to be close to the business are the key reasons why I excel in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.

Originally from the UK, I moved to Switzerland to take on more responsibility and make a greater impact in my career.

Now

Then, 6 years ago I moved to Portugal to begin my freelance journey, and I love it!

Portugal is an amazing country, ranking highly for climate, food, culture, safety and affordability. The low cost of living (especially compared to Switzerland) enabled me to get started as a freelancer without being overly stressed about paying the bills.

I love freelancing too, because it gives me a sense of purpose and the scope to Make A Difference (yes, I am MAD). Accordingly, I have been able to provide valuable services to a wide range of clients.

Recently, I have helped tech start ups, family run SMEs, and global corporations with their FP&A requirements.

I am proud to have built a thriving business, which allows me to work with clients globally, including Switzerland, UK, Germany, and Portugal.

It’s not all work and no play. Another motivating factor for me is having a balanced life. For me, that means having sufficient time for family, spirituality, leisure as well as for my secular clients. With these important areas of life in balance, I am happy, optimistic and motivated.

I’m proud of what I have achieved and that I took the leap. Many happy clients have left positive reviews, and this motivates me to keep on providing an exceptional service to my clients.
